Founded in Tangier by Issam Elbouhati, Aqarrati is a platform that centralises property, contract, and payment management — so landlords and agencies can focus on what truly matters.

Issam Elbouhati has been building production software since 2021, across rental operations, payments, document workflows and e-commerce. Based in Tangier, he created Aqarrati and is both its product owner and its developer.
Aqarrati grew out of that work on rental software. The same tasks come up for every landlord and agency in Morocco: tracking rent, issuing a receipt, finding a contract, reporting to an owner. They deserve a tool designed for the Moroccan market rather than adapted from another one.
So the product is built around Moroccan law (Law 67-12), the dirham, and the three languages property is actually managed in here: French, Arabic and English.

How we write our guides
Our articles cover leases, rent receipts, tax and legal procedures. You should be able to check what we say. These are the rules we follow:
- Official sources first: Law 67-12 as published in Official Bulletin no. 6208, and the Moroccan tax authority (DGI) for tax. We cite the publisher of the rule, not another blog.
- Dated figures: a rate, bracket or ceiling is tied to the year it applies to, and every article shows when it was last updated.
- Information, not legal advice: for a dispute, an eviction or an inheritance, consult a lawyer, a notary or an accountant.
- Fast corrections: if you spot a mistake, write to [email protected]. We fix the article and update its date.
